Our idea of creating CourseNet simply comes from the enthusiasm to solve students' problems. Students sometimes need helps with studying. However, they often encounter various difficulties concerning the seeking of help. Professors and TAs have limited availability that does not always match with students’ schedules. Thus, we hope to bring students an app to tackle this situation in which they have the platform to seek helps whenever and wherever they want.

CourseNet has a unique feature that allows students to join group chat simply by entering the Course Reference Number (CRN) for a certain course. With this feature, students are immediately connected to other students who take the same course. And the easily accessed group chat serves as a platform for students to share course materials, post questions, and provide solutions to other students’ problems.
